The MDC can be scaled from one server to 22 complete servers simply by plugging in more BioDigitalPC®/MobylPC Servers. This means that you can accommodate ever changing requirements in the field with a minimum of physical storage. Add a node to the server cluster by simply plugging in a BioDigitalPC®/MobylPC Server, which is the size of a credit card, configuring it to your network parameters and allowing it into the network.
The MDC allows for hot swapping of the batteries and the BioDigitalPC®/MobylPC Server Cards.
When completely scaled out the MDC will allow for 22 BioDigitalPC®/MobylPC Server Cards containing 22 to
88 CPU cores, 44 to 176GB DDR3 RAM and up to 2.8TB of Ultra-Fast SSD storage, and up to 12TB optional
HDD storage.
The internal battery will give you over 8 hours of scaled out server uptime and nearly a week of minimal server usage. The MDC also features a full LCD display and charging status lights.
